Configuration information
Before starting the configuration process, it is recommended to complete the following worksheets. Since this information will be required later while running the Initial Configuration Wizard for File, the worksheets are organized by wizard page:
- Set up Network worksheet
- Setup NAS Server worksheet
- Create Filesystem worksheet
- Create a SMB share worksheet

Before you begin, ensure you have the following identified/configured.

Identifying subnets helps File to optimize network configuration like failover, bonding. Refer Networking section in Chapter 3 for more details. | - |
